We wnt for the 4D ultrasound last week. At first, I didn´t want to do it, because a lot of people said the baby is often really distorted, and you can´t see anything... But my doctor said he wanted me to do it, so we went. When we got there, they wouldn´t let us pay in advance. The lady said half the time it´s impossible to see anything, so they charged you on the way out, if it works. You can probably tell we went in with no expectations whatsoever... and guess what! We were able to see her!
I know she´s partly hidden in the placenta, umbilical cord, and her own arm, but it was enought o make me wanna cry! And I think she looks a lot like me!! Wow! What a feeling... I can´t really describe it... it´s the best thng in the world!! Now I just really can´t wait to see her in person... although I´m really glad we still have 2 more months, since the bedroom furniture we bought is late and won´t be here before the end of the month!!!

OversettSilvia (2008-05-16) They did give me a DVD to take home... I never get tired of watching it... I can´t believe they make you pay whether you see something or not...
OversettSilvia (2008-05-16) It looks 3D to me too... but for some reason they call it 4D... go figure... Based on how much she´s kicking, I´d say tou´re right! She can´t wait to come out!!
OversettJani (2008-05-15) Wow, good pictures, congrats! And yeah, somehow looks like you. You had better luck than we did, and of course in Finland they ask you to pay whether you see anything or not...
Roman, still pictures are 3D and the fourth dimension is the animation... you can see the baby moving, rather than in still pictures, and they usually give you a DVD to take home...
