I know, i know... I haven´t written in a while... I had a problem with my computer and had to buy a new one. It is finally installed, and I am ready to update this blog. We went and had the second ultrasound on February 1st. It was just incredible!! The baby now looks like a baby now, and it was moving so much! It was too soon to find out if it´s a boy or a girl...
I have been feeling a lot of headaches. I went to the doctor last week, and he said I wasn´t eating enough. Yesterday I ate every 2 hours, and the deadache didn´t come. On march 3rd we´ll have the next ultrasound, and this time we´ll probably find out the sex!! I´m really looking forward to it!

OversettMay (2008-02-25) Hi Silvia, I think it's normal that you couldn't feel anything at the 1st trimester.cause the baby is so small. You will feel ease during the 4-7months. And I'm having sickness also, I vomit and don't have any appetite. But I have to compell myself to eat as more as possible so to give the nutrition to the baby. And you're right, all the pain is worthy of it in the end. Just make yourself be happy everyday and listen light music also. Have a nice day!
OversettSilvia (2008-02-21) Hi May! Good thing you could see your baby! It is much bigger than mine was on my first ultrasound (just 1,1 mm). After this, I went through a period when I thought something was wrong, because I didn´t feel anything different, and I though if there really was a baby inside me, I should feel something. But it turns out that´s normal, and soon the sickness started, although it wasn´t too bad in my case. It´s all worth it in the end. I think you´re right to go home to give birth. We always feel better at home. Keep in touch! Silvia
OversettMay (2008-02-20) hi Silvia, I'm so glad to get the prompt reply from you, i'm kind of relieved now. The thing is that I had the ultrasound done yesterday and I can see the baby, which is very tiny, just 2.5mm, it twinkles like pretty star! I must say it's amazing! Now I'm in Brasil but I'm planning to get back HK to give the birth to my baby. Let's keep in touch to share our joy! Have a good day!
I had an ultrasound very early on the pregnancy, as the doctor wanted to make sure the baby really was in the uterus, and not in the tubes. I think it is pretty safe, but if you don´t suspect anything is wrong, it´s best to wait a week or 2, ´cause then you´ll be able to hear the heart beat, and that is really an amazing thing! I wish you all the best in your pregnancy, and feel free to ask any questions you have! Silvia
OversettMay (2008-02-20) Hi Silvia, nice to know you from web by chance. I'm May and 6th weeks pregnant,I think we can exchange some experiences during this lovely pregnant period. I'm not sure if it's safe to have a ultrasound checking when 5th-6th week pregnant? will the checking be harmful to the baby? can you tell me some as I understand that you did it when you're around 6th week pregnant. Thanks a lot in advance! All the best to you! May
